# Order flow - preparation - delivery

In **Simax**, it is possible to insert an **order preparation process between the order and delivery**. This feature is particularly useful for companies with teams dedicated to o**rder preparation within warehouses.**

**Simax** offers several **order preparation methods:**

* **Preparation with pre-filled quantities:** when **preparing orders**, Simax automatically suggests which stock to use based on **best-before dates and use-by dates.**
* **Preparation with quantities not pre-filled:** when preparing the order, the user manually selects the **stock to be used.**
* **Preparation with mobile logistics:** during **preparation**, the use of **packages** and **pallets** is handled via **mobile logistics**.
