# Accounts evolution

In **Simax**, it is possible to monitor the **monthly evolution of different accounts** on a **single screen**, making **analysis** and **decision-making** easier based on each **account’s balances**. You can also access the **details** to perform **usual actions** such as **matching or entry corrections.**

Via **Accounting > Queries > Monthly accounts evolution**, you can view **statistics** showing the **monthly balances of accounts.**

{% hint style="success" %}
You can filter the data by:

* the **fiscal year**
* the **account class**
* the **account type**
* a **specific account**

It is also possible to filter by a specific **date range**.

By clicking on a **balance** and **double-clicking**, you can directly access the **accounting entries** that generated this **balance**.

By selecting the **entries** of your choice, you can then perform **standard actions** such as:

* **Match**
* **Unmatch**
* **Reverse**
* **Edit** an **entry** if necessary.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://doc.simax.fr/documentation-simax-anglais/functional/accounting/tools/accounts-evolution.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
