The trial balance is an accounting report that lists all the accounts in the general ledger for a given period.
It shows, for each account, the total debits and credits, as well as the debit and credit balances.
To generate a trial balance, go to: Accounting > Entry management > Simple general ledger.


Trial balance settings:
Auxiliary trial balance: Class: 4 – Third parties
Customer auxiliary trial balance: Class: 4 – Third parties Account type: 41
Supplier auxiliary trial balance: Class: 4 – Third parties Account type: 40
General trial balance: No filtering by class or account type.
The general ledger is the detailed record of all the accounts used by the company, presenting accounting entries in chronological order.
It can be considered as the equivalent of an account statement for each account.
To generate the general ledger, go to:
Accounting > Entry management > Simple general ledger

To generate a journal by month, go to Accounting > Reports > Journal edition per month.
