# Introduction

Cash flow plays a strategic role in the financial management of any business, ensuring rigorous monitoring of bank receipts and disbursements. It enables customer payments to be collected and supplier debts to be settled within the specified time limits. The SIMAX Cash Flow module offers a comprehensive, automated solution for optimizing these processes. In particular, it allows you to enter bank accounts, process payments, manage payment reminders, and establish a schedule and cash flow forecast. By combining this forecast with the reminder engine integrated into SIMAX solutions, companies can more effectively anticipate their cash flow needs and accelerate cash receipts. By default, each SIMAX solution supports different payment methods (direct debits, transfers, checks, drafts, etc.) and allows bank statements to be imported in SEPA and CFONB formats to facilitate reconciliation. Entries are automatically reconciled when the amounts match or the cause of the discrepancy is identified, thereby enhancing the reliability and speed of financial monitoring.
