# Import / Export / Archives

The **import and export tools** allow you to easily manage accounting entries between Simax and other third-party software:

* **Import of accounting entries:** you can import entries from software such as **EBP, Cegid, Sage, Ciel**, as well as entries in **FEC format**.
* **Export of accounting entries:** Simax allows you to export entries in formats compatible with the same third-party software (**Sage, Ciel, EBP, Quadra**) and also in **FEC format**, to meet legal requirements for traceability and tax audits.

These features facilitate **data migration**, **sharing with your accounting partners**, and ensure the **consistency and integrity** of your entries during exchanges between systems. They are particularly useful for accounting firms, multi-company groups, or for audit preparation.
